Richard Durning is a sound designer and theatre maker based in Dublin. After graduating from the Drama and Theatre Studies programme at Trinity College, he devised, designed and performed Half Light with Bombinate, which won Dublin Fringe Festival’s First Fortnight award and toured Ireland. He is a regular collaborator with ImmerCity, designing 2084 at Manchester Central Library and the festival-touring audio-immersive experience The Story Forest. He directed Salomé at the Samuel Beckett Theatre, and devised and performed as part of The David Fragments ensemble at the Greenwood Theatre. He is a member of Felicity, collaborating on Psuedaria for Live Collision and Papini for Dublin Fringe and is currently working with Created a Monster as Sound Designer on Conspiracy of Orphans.
